OPERATIONS
The library is open from 7:00 am till 3:00 pm each day.
We recently genrefied our fiction section. Now students can browse for fiction books by genre: Science Fiction, Realistic Fiction, Fantasy Fiction, Action & Adventure, Mystery & Suspense, Historical Fiction, Horror & Supernatural, Romance & Relationships, Christian Fiction, Sports Fiction and Graphic Novels.
In addition to our fiction section, the library has a large biography section, a nonfiction section and a reference section. We also have a collection of yearbooks dating back to the 1950s!
Students may check out two books for a period of two weeks.
Books may be rechecked for an additional two weeks. The book must be brought to the library and stamped with a new due date.
There are two different types of e-books in the library: reference e-books which are linked through a box on the left (links) and e-books to check out using Destiny Discover through the library catalog.
Students must return all library materials before each semester ends. Should a student be unable to pay for lost books, arrangements should be made with one of the library staff.
Students are expected to follow the Arab City Schools Acceptable Use Policy when using library computers.
Both student and faculty suggestions for the purchase of new materials are welcome.
